- 1950.04.24The Taiwan Provincial Government promulgates the Regulations Governing the Implementation of Self-government in Counties and Cities in Taiwan Province, paving the way for local self-governance in Taiwan.
- 1950.08.16The Executive Yuan Council approves an administrative division plan to rezone Taiwan into five provincial municipalities and 16 counties (originally eight counties, nine provincial municipalities, and two county municipalities).
- 1950.11.22The Executive Yuan Council approves the draft of the 37.5-Percent Arable Land Rent Reduction Act, which is later passed by the Legislative Yuan on May 30, 1951 and promulgated by the president on June 7, 1951.

- 1952.11.12The Executive Yuan Council passes the draft of the Land-to-the-Tiller Act, which is then approved by the Legislative Yuan on January 20, 1953 and promulgated by the president on January 26, 1953.
- 1954.05.19The Executive Yuan Council passes the draft of the Equalization of Urban Land Rights Act, which is approved by the Legislative Yuan on August 15, 1954 and promulgated by the president on August 26, 1954. The act governs land value assessment, land value tax, and land value increment tax.
