HAU Pei-tsun

A native of Yancheng, Jiangsu, Hau Pei-tsun was a career soldier and four-star general of the ROC. Besides premier, he also served as president of the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, chief of the General Staff, defense minister, vice chairman of the Kuomintang, and senior adviser to the president. He is now chairman of the Wang Yang-ming Education Foundation.
