Description

A native of Wutai, Shanxi, Premier Xi-shan Yan relocated the government from Chengdu to Taiwan during his premier office in 1949. In March 1950, Kai-shek Chiang resumed his presidency and Premier Xi-shan Yan was relieved from his premier office and became a senior advisor to the president. Later on he moved to Jingshan on Yangming Mountain.
