Description

Premier Chen Chien-jen attends a press conference to promote the TPASS commuter travel card. The monthly pass, which launched on July 1, 2023, allows unlimited journeys across multiple modes of public transport and is divided into three regions: northern, central and southern Taiwan. TPASS is helping to lighten people’s financial burdens as well as alleviate traffic congestion and reduce air pollution—moving the nation closer to achieving the goal of net-zero carbon emissions—and has created a new model of central and local government cooperation.
