Description

Premier Lin Chuan presides over the Gufeng Tunnel breakthrough ceremony as part of the Suhua Highway improvement project. After the breakthrough of Gufeng Tunnel on October 29, 2016, all six tunnels along the Su-ao to Dong-ao and the Nan-ao to Heping sections of the Suhua Highway were broken through. The premier said the Suhua Highway improvement project will give eastern Taiwan residents a safe and reliable road home, shorten the travel distance from Su-ao to Hualien, and benefit the development of eastern Taiwan.
